Originally designed by Messerschmitt as the Me 155 high-altitude interceptor,Werk Nr 360052 was the second Blöhm & Voss BV 155 Prototype.
History
This aircraft was brought to England by the RAF and examined before being shipped to the USA. Initially designated by the USAAF as FE-505, later FE-218, and then T2-505, it is currently stored in the Smithsonian Institution's Paul E. Garber Facility, part of the National Air and Space Museum (NASM), Washington, D.C.[1]
