History[]

Built by Focke-Wulf Flugzeugbau GmbH Bremen,[1] and flown as DN+FP,, assigned to the III. Gruppe of Schnellkampfgeschwader 10 (III/SG10) in Italy in late-August or early September 1943. It was one of the aircraft left at Montecorvino when that airfield was hastily abandoned on the morning of 9 September 1943, after the Allies landed only a few kilometres away during the Salerno invasion.[2]

Upon capture this aircraft was designated EB-104 and flight tested by the U.S. Army Air Force at Wright Field, Ohio, from 25 March to 15 April 1944, flown by Major Gustav Edward Lundquist, U.S. Army Air Force.[3][4], before being redesignated FE-104. Later known as FE-125, and then T2-125, the aircraft was photographed in flight over Wright Field, Ohio, and on the ground at Freeman Field, Indiana, during May 1945.[5] The aircraft was recorded at Wright Field 1st August 1946 as part of an exhibition. Soon after this it was scrapped.[6]
