[[No. 1426 (Enemy Aircraft) Flight]] acquired their Henschel Hs 129B W.Nr. 0297 in July 1942 from North Africa. It had flown with I/SG2 of the Luftwaffe. It took over twelve months to bring this aircraft up to flying standard as ''NF756''. It was flown again at Collyweston on 13 May 1944. After the disbandment of No 1426 Flight NF756 was transferred to the [[Central Fighter Establishment]] at RAF Tangmere, and thence to storage with No 6 Maintenance Unit at RAF Brize Norton.
