On 21 December 1941, the aircraft forced landed half mile south of Carrigans, County Donegal, Eire, during a ferry flight, resulting in the pilot, S/Lt Bruce Nathanial Girdlestone RNZN,[3] being interned.[4]

The final fate of the aircraft is not recorded.
