History
Built by North American Aviation, 42-78247 was assigned to the 461st BG, 765th BS.
On 4 October 1944, the aircraft was captured by the Luftwaffe, and flown as CL+XZ,[1] after being forced down by anti aircraft fire while on a mission against Munich.[2]
After repairs were completed, the aircraft was used to test German radar and other electronics.[3]
