42-56629 was a Douglas C-48B/Commercial DC-3A-269B

History

Built as c/n 2185, and passed to Northwest Airlines as NC25610, this aircraft was impressed by USAAF on 8 June 1942. Returned to civil registry as NC25610 (Northwest Jul 1944), it was re-registered as N8341C (China Air Transport Dec 1949), later becoming N1790B. Captured by communist forces but returned.

Joining Bonanza Airlines in May 1955 as N491, 42-56629 passed to Air Ferry Inc on 27 February 1961. Registered with All Nippon Airways as JA5077 between 13 May 1961 and October 1962, it was leased to Koren Air asHL4005 from Oct 1962 to Sep 1963, before returning to All Nippon, with it's previous registration, until 3 September 1966, when it went into storage.

Last registration was B-313 for Winner Airways, Taiwan (Jan 26, 1970 to ?). The aircraft was subsequently withdrawn from use.[1]
